An urgent meeting for the Faculty Council was held today at 10:00 a.m. It was chaired by Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Faulty Dean, in attendance of vice deans and members of the council. It took place in the Dean's office
   The meeting was convened in response to correspondence from Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, regarding the selection of members for the committee responsible for nominating the new Dean of the Faculty. The faculty was asked to choose its representatives: one primary member and one alternate member.  
 That meeting was held within the framework of commitment of the faculty to fulfilling the administrative and legal procedures required under the regulations governing the selection of university leaders. The council concluded by completing the necessary formal procedures to submit to the university administration the names that were agreed upon.
