Celebrating the University’s Golden Jubilee, Tanta University President Attends the Graduation Ceremony of Cohorts 47 and 48 at Faculty of Commerce under Patronage of the Prime Minister

Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, Tanta University President, attended the ceremony organized by Faculty of Commerce for graduating cohort No. 47 of 2020 named after late Dr. Nevin Ezzat, Lecturer at Department of Accounting, and cohort No. 48 of 2021 named after late Prof. Ashraf Lotfy, Professor at Department of Economy and Public Finance, in the context of celebrating Tanta University’s golden jubilee under patronage of the Prime Minister.

Furthermore, the ceremony was attended by Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Kamal Okasha, University Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; Prof. Hamdy Sha’ban, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Hany Al-Shamy, Faculty Dean.

Tanta University President, Prof. Mahmoud Zaki, asserted that knowledge is the foundation of progress. He congratulated the alumni calling upon them to play their role in community advancement in the light of the new republic announced by President of the Republic. He asked them not to stop gaining knowledge. In addition, he congratulated students’ parents who exerted great efforts to help their sons reach success.

In the speech he delivered, Prof. Mohamed Hussein, University Vice President, expressed his pleasure with participation in the ceremony. He affirmed that the university is keen on improvement of education, development of students’ skills, and preparing unique graduates qualified for labor market.

Moreover, Prof. Hany Al-Shamy, Faculty Dean, thanked academic staff, assistant staff, and employees of the Faculty for the strenuous efforts they exert to achieve the goals and to realize the mission of the Faculty and the university.
