Department of Economics and Public Finance at the Faculty of Business, Tanta University announces its annual scientific conference for 2026, titled:
“The Egyptian Economy Between Current Shocks and Building a Competitive Economy”
   The conference is held under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, and under supervision of Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Dean of Faculty of Business; and Prof. Ramadan Ma’en, Conference Chairman.
The conference will take place on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026, at Faculty Conference Hall.
Main Conference Themes:

Through its sessions and activities, the conference will address a number of key economic issues through three main themes:
First Theme: Macroeconomic Governance and Public Finance Sustainability in Facing Current Economic Shocks
Second Theme: Productive Restructuring and International Cooperation as Foundations for Enhancing Growth, Employment, and Egypt’s Competitive Advantage
Third Theme: Digital Governance Economics and Artificial Intelligence Applications in the Business Environment and Financial Oversight
