About the Library:
• Establishment: It was established in 1957
• Place: On the second floor at the administrative building above the Computer Center
• The Library Halls: Number of Halls: Five Halls:
- Language Division and BIS students
- The Arabic Library (Student's Library)
- Theses, Dissertations and Arabic and Foreign Periodicals (Postgraduate Studies Hall)
- Digital Library
- Foreign Library (with foreign books and references)
• Beneficiaries:
- Students of all four classes (Arabic – English BIS – Regulation and Affiliation Systems)
- Postgraduate studies students
- Academic staff and assistant staff
- Foreign students
• Human and Financial Resources:
- The staff of the library is highly skilled in automatic research, analysis and indexing.
- The staff of the library is continuously trained both at Tanta University and outside the University (Cairo University – Bibliotheca of Alexandria ) on modern techniques in the field of libraries.
- The library is provided annually with the latest books, editions and scientific periodicals in all scientific disciplines.
- There are computers at the digital library for the researchers and beneficiaries.
- There is a paid photocopier.
- There are security cameras and alarms.
