Organizing a Symposium Titled, “The Role of the Family and the Society in Supporting Orphans” at Faculty of Business


   Faculty of Business at Tanta University held a symposium titled, “The Role of the Family and the Society in Supporting the Orphans” in the light of the joint cooperation between Ministry of Social Solidarity and Tanta University. It was held on April 22nd, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the conference room, under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, Tanta University President; Prof. Mahmoud Salim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Faculty Dean; Prof. Hanea Mahariq, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Reham Al-Sawwaahh, Manager of Social Solidarity Unit at the University; and Dr. Maysa Ali, Manager of Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty. It was lectured by Prof. Randa Al-Deeb, Professor of Educational Foundations at Faculty of Education, Manager of Combating Violence Against Woman Unit at the University, and Founder of the initiative, “Raise Your Child Properly”.
   The symposium tackled the role of the family and the society in supporting orphan children by giving them emotional, educational, and social care. It also focused on helping them feel safe and that they belong, as this is a religious, moral, and human responsibility for everyone in the society.
