In an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and team spirit, and marking a new achievement added to the rich record of student activities at Faculty of Business, the 19th Scout and Guide Festival concluded after witnessing fair and strong competition among rover teams from various faculties across the university.
The results of the festival showed that Faculty of Business secured the first place (jointly with the Faculty of Education) at the overall festival level, in addition to achieving top rankings across all scouting and guiding fields. The festival also highlighted outstanding individual performances by the faculty students. Mariam Hosny Mahmoud (third level, BIS) won the title of “Ideal Female Rover,” while Youssef Nasr Soliman (first level, BIS) won the title of “Outstanding Rover.” Osama Hathout, a fourth-level Arabic Accounting student (regular program), received the Ideal Rover Award at the delegation level, and Hamsa El-Ganady, a third-level BIS student, won the Ideal Female Rover Award at the delegation level.
In recognition of the continuous support provided by the faculty administration for student activities, the rover team presented the festival shield to Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Faculty Dean. He expressed his great pride in the students’ outstanding performance, emphasizing that scouting discipline is an excellent way to prepare youth physically, mentally, and in leadership skills. The event was attended by Prof. Tariq Radwan, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Naglaa Fekry, General Director of Student Affairs at the Faculty, and the Student Affairs administrative team.
