Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, attended the graduation ceremony organized by Faculty of Business for the 52nd class of bachelor’s degree graduates and the 44th class of postgraduates. The ceremony was held in attendance of Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Dean of Faculty of Business, along with vice deans, academic staff, and a large number of graduates from both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Prof. Mohammed Hussain expressed his pride and honor in attending the ceremony and sharing the graduates’ celebration, emphasizing that they represent the generation of the future entrusted with the responsibility of building a strong nation and a prosperous economy. He affirmed that Faculty of Business has always been a guiding light of knowledge and learning, and a center for preparing qualified professionals capable of facing contemporary challenges. He added that economic, administrative, and financial sciences constitute the fundamental pivot of any national renaissance, as they organize resources, direct efforts, ensure efficiency, and contribute to shaping policies that support growth and stability.
Further, he explained that the graduates of the faculty are capable of understanding and analyzing data and economic and financial indicators, and linking them to real-world applications, enabling them to serve as a bridge between academic thought and practical implementation.
Furthermore, he urged graduates to be part of this vision and to contribute to building a strong economy that supports the nation and enhances its standing among countries. He also extended sincere appreciation to parents, describing them as the true supporters who stood behind their children throughout their academic years, enduring significant effort and sacrifice, and providing continuous emotional and financial support.
For his part, Prof. Hatem Amin confirmed that graduating a new class reflects the success of the educational process in all its dimensions, whether scientific, cognitive, or applied. He noted that this achievement demonstrates the graduates’ readiness to enter the labor market and face its challenges, thereby contributing to comprehensive societal development.
In addition, Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz stated that Education and Student Affairs Department is always keen on providing a rich environment to support students’ talents, develop their skills, and direct their energies toward creativity and excellence through various student activities and programs. He emphasized that the university always keeps its doors open for its graduates, paying special tribute to parents as the true heroes of this achievement. He advised graduates to enter the labor market equipped with knowledge and values and to be ambassadors of their faculty and university as well.
Prof. Yasser Al-Garf noted that this day represents the harvest of years of learning and perseverance, praising the distinguished group of bachelor’s and postgraduate students, including international students. He addressed the graduates, saying, “Today you begin your journey of giving as ambassadors of your country and university”. He also expressed his appreciation to the University President for his continuous support in developing the educational system and providing all necessary resources for the success of academic and student activities, as well as his gratitude to the faculty members for their efforts in preparing a distinguished generation capable of competing in the labor market.
The ceremony concluded with the honoring of top bachelor’s graduates, senior alumni, academic staff promoted to professor and assistant professor ranks, and graduates of academic and professional postgraduate programs.
