Community Service and Environmental Development Department at Faculty of Business organized an educational field visit for students enrolled in the Accounting and Finance Program (AFP) to the Banque Misr Museum (Tal’at Harb Museum). The visit was held as part of the strategic partnership with Banque Misr and within the framework of their joint training program.
The visit was attended by Dr. Ekramy Essmat, Academic Coordinator of the Program; Dr. Rehab Hashem, Director of the Alumni Follow-up Unit; several academic staff; and a group of outstanding students from the program.
During the tour, students explored the history and legacy of Tal’at Harb, widely recognized as the pioneer of Egypt's modern economy, and viewed the museum's collections documenting the origins and development of the banking sector. Museum specialists also discussed the rapid developments in the banking industry and their impact on contemporary accounting and financial practices.
For his part, Dr. Ekramy Essmat expressed his appreciation for the students' active engagement throughout the visit, emphasizing that such educational experiences are an integral part of the program vision to prepare a new generation of accounting and finance professionals capable of combining academic knowledge with practical application.
In addition, Dr. Rehab Hashem commended the students for their enthusiasm and commitment to making the most of the unique learning opportunities provided through the collaboration of the faculty with leading financial institutions.
