Trade and Finance Journal, published by Faculty of Business at Tanta University, has achieved a Q1 ranking, placing it among the top-tier journals in its field and surpassing the Arab average for the discipline.
Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Dean of the Faculty of Business, announced that such achievement is part of the continued excellence of the faculty in scientific research. The recognition follows the release of the 11th annual report for 2026 by the Arab Citation and Impact Factor (ARCIF), affiliated with the E-Marefa Database.
According to the official ARCIF report, the journal successfully met all 32 international accreditation criteria established by ARCIF, among more than 5,650 Arab journals.
The journal achieved several notable results, including:
• An ARCIF Impact Factor of 0.738.
• 23rd place in the Arab world in the field of Interdisciplinary Economics, Finance and Business Administration, ranking among 192 journals in the discipline.
Commenting on the achievement, Prof. Yasser Al-Garf expressed his pride in the journal’s outstanding academic performance, noting that the accomplishment reflects the extensive efforts devoted to advancing the journal and ensuring its compliance with rigorous international standards.
In addition, Prof. Al-Garf extended his sincere appreciation to the journal’s editorial team and the Postgraduate Studies Department for their efforts in achieving this distinguished accomplishment.
For her part, Prof. Dina Abdel Hady, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, said the journal’s sustained progress and success are the result of dedicated work and an integrated research system within the faculty. She emphasized that the journal’s Q1 ranking is clear evidence of the quality of its published scholarly content.
She added that the achievement would further motivate the faculty to pursue continued development and advancement in support of postgraduate studies and scientific research.
