In Attendance of Vice President of Tanta University, Launching the Events of the 9th International Scientific Conference Titled, “Impact of Geopolitical Changes on the Business Environment (Threats and Opportunities)”


   The events of the 9th international scientific conference, “Impact of Geopolitical Changes on the Business Environment (Threats and Opportunities)” were launched today at Triumph Hotel in the 5th Settlement, New Cairo, under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Ashor, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; and Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University; in attendance of Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; and Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Faculty Dean; Prof. Tariq Radwan, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Dina Abdel Hady, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; and Prof. Hanea Mahariq, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; as well as a number of academic staff and researchers from different universities.
   For his part, Prof. Hatem Amin expressed his pleasure in participating in the 9th International Conference of Faculty of Business and stated that the international arena is witnessing rapid geopolitical transformations, from regional conflicts to new economic alliances, which pose unprecedented challenges on the business sector, yet simultaneously present exceptional opportunities. He further emphasized that Tanta University, through its strategy based on scientific research and smart partnerships, stands out as a platform for transforming threats into drivers of innovation and linking knowledge with practical application. He affirmed that responding to geopolitical changes is not a matter of choice but rather a must to ensure business continuity in an increasingly uncertain world. He urged all researchers to engage in bold discussions that yield actionable recommendations, contributing to the development of a competitive Egyptian economy capable of turning geopolitical challenges to its advantage.
   In addition, Prof. Yasser Al-Garf added that the conference is held at a time when the world is witnessing unprecedented geopolitical turbulence, where regional conflicts intertwine with economic transformations and global crises. He pointed out that it has become essential for the academic community to play an effective role in analyzing these complex phenomena and anticipating their impact on the economy, financial markets, and the international business environment. He explained that the conference serves as a mature scientific platform that, through its diverse themes presents scholarly and analytical perspectives on a range of contemporary challenges. He extended his thanks and gratitude to Prof. Mohammed Ashor for his generous patronage of this conference, Prof. Mohammed Hussain for his continuous support, and to all the participants for their rich contributions.
   Further, Prof. Dina Abdel Hady affirmed that selecting the title of the conference reflects the deep awareness of the rapid challenges that the world is witnessing, declaring that these changes impose major challenges upon us. As a result, the role of scientific research and postgraduate studies becomes essential, not only in understanding and analyzing these phenomena, but also in proposing practical solutions that empower our institutions and economies to confront challenges and seize opportunities. She expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to organizing this conference, to the researchers who presented their papers and ideas, and to all attendees whose presence and participation enriched this conference.
   The inaugural session witnessed granting the shield of the conference to Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research.
