Faculty of Business Organizes an Employment Meeting for Students and Graduates in Cooperation with Al-Salam Company for Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industries


   Community Service and Environmental Development Department at Faculty of Business organized today an interactive meeting with faculty students and graduates as well as students of Tanta National University under the title, “The Required Skills in the Labor Market”. The meeting was held under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, Tanta University President; Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Mahmoud Salim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Faculty Dean; in attendance of Prof. Ibrahim Obaid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; under supervision of Prof. Rehab Hashem, Director of the Alumni Follow-up Unit, as well as a number of academic staff.
   The event was lectured by Dr. Allam Farahat, Manager of Al-Salam Company for Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industries, where he tackled the most prominent required skills in the modern labor market and how to qualify students for the available job opportunities.
  In addition, Dr. Allam has announced a number of outstanding job opportunities, and application forms were disseminated on the students to fill in and work in variant fields: Sales, marketing, accounting, and medical rep.
  It is worth noting that organizing the meeting is out of keenness of the faculty on enhancing partnerships with private sector institutions and providing direct communication channels between the students and the labor market to ensure qualifying them and providing real job opportunities.
