President of Tanta University Inaugurates Development and Upgrading Works for Several Educational Facilities at Faculty of Business


   Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, inaugurated today the development and upgrading works of Lecture Hall (2) at Faculty of Business, the Scientific Center for the Stock Market, as well as the renovation works of the BIS Division Building, as part of the ongoing efforts of the university to modernize its educational and research facilities and to provide an integrated academic environment that serves both students and academic staff, aiming to prepare qualified   who meet labor market demands and contribute to advancing economic and social development.
   It was in attendance of Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Faculty Dean; Prof. Tariq Radwan, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Dina Abdel Hady, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; Prof. Hanea Mahariq, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Hosny Duwair, Manager of Engineering Research and Consultations Center; and Dr. Mohammed Abu Helal, Deputy Manager of the Center; in addition to a number of academic staff and faculty personnel.
   Tanta University President emphasized that the refurbishment of Lecture Hall (2) reflects the university commitment to offering a modern and stimulating educational environment. He stressed that the maintenance and upgrading works are not limited to aesthetic improvements but also include the modernization of audio-visual systems and the equipping of the hall with the latest technologies that support interactive and smart teaching methods. These enhancements are designed to ensure high-quality education in fully equipped halls that foster both academic and professional growth.
   In addition, Prof. Mohammed Hussain highlighted the significance of the Scientific Center for the Stock Market, which plays a vital role in bridging the gap between academic study and the labor market. The center offers students practical training on stock exchange operations and financial market analysis, and preparing them to face challenges in this crucial sector. He pointed out that the center serves as a window into the real world of finance and business, offering students hands-on experience with real or simulated trading systems, thus enabling them to enter the labor market without the need for lengthy additional training.
   He further noted that the renovation of the BIS Division Building is part of a comprehensive strategic vision to enhance the infrastructure of the university faculties. The building has been upgraded and equipped with the latest lecture halls and laboratories, boosting students’ ability to acquire essential skills in this rapidly evolving field.
   For his part, Prof. Yasser Al-Garf stated that the development and upgrading efforts were an urgent necessity to keep pace with modern teaching methods and to increase the capacity of the faculty. He added that the improvements will help bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application in the financial market sector, benefiting both students and graduates. He also expressed his gratitude to Prof. Mohammed Hussain for his continuous support of development projects, affirming that the faculty will continue its dedicated efforts to achieve academic and research excellence.
