Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Dean of Faculty of Business, along with the vice-deans, heads of departments, academic staff, assistant staff, students, and administrative staff, extend sincere congratulations to the student/ Fatema Mohammed Atteya Ghanem, a third-year student registered in the Arabic Section, Regulation system, for winning the gold medal in the Asian Open Judo Cup (63 kg category) and gaining the title, “Best Female Player of the Tournament”.
This remarkable achievement adds to her distinguished sports record and underscores Egypt’s presence on the international stage. It also reflects the faculty’s commitment to supporting its talented students in both academic and sports activities.
Faculty Dean expressed his pride in the successive accomplishments of Fatema Ghanem, recalling her outstanding performance at the African Youth Judo Championship in Yaoundé, Cameroon (August 2024), where she won a gold medal in the team event and a silver medal in the individual 63 kg category. He also highlighted her success at the African Judo Championship held in Côte d’Ivoire (April 25–27, 2025), where she secured the gold medal in the team competition and the bronze medal in the senior individual event, marking another milestone in her career.
He also affirmed that Fatema Ghanem is a shining example of the faculty students, who continue to excel academically and athletically. He emphasized that her success is the result of perseverance, determination, strong family support, and the comprehensive backing provided by the faculty, enabling students to combine academic excellence with sports achievements.
