In Recognition of the Efforts of the Faculty in the National Literacy Project, President of Tanta University Honors Faculty Dean, the Coordinator, and the Distinguished Student on the Occasion of the University Leading Egyptian Universities in the Literacy File for the October 2025 Round


   As part of celebrating the major achievement accomplished by Tanta University in ranking first among Egyptian universities in the literacy file for the October 2025 round, Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, honored Faculty of Business as a key partner in this success. This recognition is in appreciation of the effective role and outstanding field efforts exerted by the faculty, which directly contributed to the University attaining the top position nationwide.
   Honoring took place during the coordination meeting held today with the General Authority for Adult Education, in the presence of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University; Prof. Mahmoud Salim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Counselor Mohammed Ateyya, General Supervisor of the Executive Authority of the General Authority for Adult Education; Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Faculty Dean; Prof. Ahmed Al-Araby, Dean of Faculty of Arts; Eng. Nasser Ismail, Undersecretary of the Ministry and Director of the Gharbia Directorate of Education; Mrs. Hasnaa Ibrahim, Undersecretary of the Ministry and Director of the Gharbia Directorate of Social Solidarity; Dr. Samah Abu Zahra, Chairperson of Nour Misr Charity Association; Dr. Alaa Halawish, Executive Director of the Central Sustainable Training Center; Prof. Walid Samir, Vice Dean of Faculty of Education and Coordinator of the Literacy File at the University; Dr. Mohammed Abul Nabayel, Director of the Authority Branch in Gharbia; and a number of literacy coordinators from various faculties.
   During the meeting, Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Dean of the Faculty, was honored in appreciation of his leadership role and efforts in supporting the “Illiteracy-Free Egypt” initiative and providing all means to motivate students to actively participate in national service. 
   In addition, University President honored Dr. Mohammed Nasser, Literacy Coordinator at the Faculty, in recognition of his outstanding organizational efforts in following up on the progress of work and achieving the highest completion rates among participating faculties. Further, the student/ Karim Sameh Ismail was honored as a distinguished and a role model among faculty students, in recognition of his exceptional success in eradicating illiteracy among a large number of citizens.
   For his part, Prof. Yasser Al-Garf expressed his pride in this official recognition, affirming that Tanta University attainment of first place is the result of integrated institutional work.
