Within an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie, Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Dean of Faculty of Business, visited the faculty camp at the Rover Scouts’ grounds at Sibirbay Campus to participate with his students in the “Campfire Night”, as part of the activities of the 19th Scout and Guide Festival at Tanta University.
The visit reflects the Dean’s ongoing commitment to being among students and providing moral support. During his visit, he witnessed the artistic performances and creative segments presented by the students, which showcased authentic scouting values such as cooperation, discipline, and self-reliance.
During the visit, Prof. Al-Garf expressed his delight at the high organizational level and the outstanding morale of the participating delegation, affirming that the faculty is proud of its students who combine academic excellence with exceptional involvement in student activities. He noted that the “Campfire Night” is not merely entertainment; it is a reflection of team spirit and a strengthening of the bonds of friendship among students.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Magdy Wakwak, General Coordinator of Student Activities, as well as the teamwork of Student Welfare Department at the faculty who worked on removing any obstacles facing the students so that they could perform at their best during the festival.
The visit concluded with commemorative photos of Faculty Dean with the rover scouts, amid enthusiastic scouting cheers from the students, expressing their gratitude and appreciation for the continuous support of the faculty administration.
