Faculty of Business at Tanta University has announced that Trade and Finance journal has maintained its advanced (Q2) ranking in the 2025 annual report of the Arab Impact and Citation Factor (Arcif).
Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Faculty Dean, confirmed that the “Trade and Finance” journal successfully retained its position within the Q2 category (upper-middle tier) in the fields of economics, finance, and business administration, according to the 10th annual Arcif report for 2025.
He emphasized that sustaining this advanced ranking reflects the clear strategy of the faculty to enhance research quality and elevate it to international standards. He noted that the achievement underscores the professionalism and rigor of the editorial board of the journal in adhering to global publishing standards. He extended his congratulations to faculty members and researchers whose high-quality scholarly contributions continue to strengthen the reputation of the faculty at both local and regional levels.
For her part, Prof. Dina Abdel Hady, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, explained that the Arcif index applies precise and stringent evaluation criteria aligned with international benchmarks. She noted that the 10th report assessed more than 5,500 Arab academic journals across various disciplines, with only 1,272 journals meeting the accreditation standards, placing the journal among a select group of trusted scientific publications in the Arab region.
