Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Dean of Faculty of Business, revealed that the “Accounting Research Journal” maintained its prestigious Q2 ranking in the field of financial and accounting sciences. The journal ranked among only 18 journals across the Arab world within its specialization to secure this standing in the 2025 Arcif report.
He stated that maintaining this status affirms the commitment of the faculty to establishing a solid scientific reference that serves the finance and accounting sectors. He added that preserving Arcif rigorous standards is part of the faculty broader strategy to transform academic research into added value that supports the national economy and aligns with the university vision for international leadership.
For her part, Prof. Dina Abdel Hady, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, highlighted that Arcif operates under high-level international supervision, including organizations such as UNESCO, United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
Further, she stated that the sustained Q2 ranking enhances the academic competitiveness of the faculty scholars and strengthens the position of the journal as a leading platform attracting researchers from across the Arab world, reinforcing their growing regional and academic impact.
