Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Dean of Faculty of Business at Tanta University, received in his office today a high-level delegation from United Misr Investments to discuss prospects for strategic partnership, as part of the faculty commitment to strengthening cooperation with major economic and industrial entities.
   The delegation included Mr. Mohammed Khallaf, Managing Director of United Misr Investments for Commercial and Industrial Activities and Board Member of the Egyptian Federation for Mental Development of Youth, along with Dr. Tariq Fakhry, Certified Public Accountant and Financial Consultant to the company.
   The meeting addressed avenues of joint cooperation between the faculty and the company, with particular focus on the participation of the company as one of the official sponsors of the “10th International Conference of the Faculty,” titled “Artificial Intelligence in the Business Environment: Opportunities and Challenges.” The conference is scheduled to be held on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, in the Conference Hall at the faculty, in the presence of Prof. Hanea’ Mahariq, Director of the Conference Finance and Follow-up Committee, and Prof. Ibrahim Ebeid, Conference Rapporteur.
  For his part, Prof. Yasser Al-Garf expressed his pleasure with the visit, emphasizing that the involvement of successful national entities such as United Misr Investments in the academic activities represents a significant addition to developing youth skills and supporting innovation.
   In addition, the delegation expressed pride in cooperating with the faculty, describing it as a longstanding academic institution. They noted that sponsoring the 10th Conference of the faculty reflects the belief of the company in the importance of integrating the roles of universities and the investment sector.
