Faculty of Business Hosts the “Qetar Al-Khair” Initiative for Economic and Banking Empowerment


   The Alumni Follow-up Unit at Faculty of Business hosted the “Qetar Al-Khair” initiative, which means “The Train of Charity”, today at in the Conference Hall.
   The event was held as part of the faculty commitment to promoting entrepreneurship culture and supporting financial inclusion among its students, under the patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, Tanta University President; Prof. Mahmoud Salim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Dean of the Faculty. The initiative was supervised by Dr. Rehab Hashem, Director of the Alumni Follow-up Unit. The session was delivered by Mr. Emad Qattara, banking expert, in cooperation with the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency (Cabinet of Ministers), the National Bank of Egypt, United Bank of Egypt, Agricultural Bank of Egypt, Suez Canal Bank, and Housing and Development Bank.
   The meeting included providing direct knowledge and training support that linked the academic side with the actual requirements of the labor market. It addressed several topics, including:
•    Financial inclusion: concept, practical applications, and impact on the national economy.
•    Banking transactions: the proper principles for dealing with banking institutions.
•    Project financing: mechanisms for obtaining funding and studying available opportunities.
•    Entrepreneurship: the steps for transforming innovative ideas into established projects.
