At the conclusion of the intensive training program organized by the NilePreneurs Unit at the Agricultural Bank of Egypt, Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Dean of Faculty of Business, Tanta University, welcomed participating students from Faculty of Business and Tanta University National University to his office, where he presented them with certificates of completion in recognition of their successful participation in a unique training experience that bridged academic study with real-world banking practice.
The training program was launched earlier at the headquarters of the Agricultural Bank of Egypt, Gharbia Sector, in the presence of Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, accompanied by Prof. Ibrahim Ebaid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Dr. Rehab Hashim, Director of the Alumni Follow-up Unit, and senior officials from the Agricultural Bank of Egypt.
Conducted entirely within the bank's NilePreneurs Units, the five-week program enabled more than 100 students from the Faculty of Business and Tanta University National University to gain firsthand experience in an authentic banking environment.
During the certificate presentation ceremony, Prof. Yasser Al-Garf commended the students for their commitment and outstanding performance, emphasizing that training in real workplace settings is the “golden key” to preparing graduates who are ready to compete immediately in the banking sector while contributing to Egypt's national economic development.
For his part, Prof. Ibrahim Ebaid noted that the collaboration with the NilePreneurs Initiative aims to help young people transform innovative ideas into viable projects while equipping them with the technical skills needed to keep pace with the digital transformation of financial institutions. He also expressed his appreciation for the productive partnership with the Agricultural Bank of Egypt in enhancing the professional competencies of the faculty students.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Mohammed Ramadan, Academic Coordinator of the Business Information Systems Program, and Dr. Mohammed Gazia, Academic Coordinator of the Accounting and Financial Innovations Program, at Faculty of Business, Tanta University National University; Dr. Rehab Hashem, Director of the Alumni Follow-up Unit; Mr. Mohammed Ref’at, General Manager of the NilePreneurs Units at the Agricultural Bank of Egypt; Mr. Ahmed Al-Nahrawy, West Delta Supervisor for the NilePreneurs Administration; and Mr. Tariq Sehsah, Gharbia Sector Supervisor for the NilePreneurs Administration.
