Faculty of Business at Tanta University hosted the activities of the Largest Financial Inclusion Training Program in collaboration with Banque Misr, welcoming students from the Faculty of Business at Tanta National University to participate in the initiative.
The program is organized and supervised by the Faculty of Business as part of its comprehensive strategy to equip and support students from both Tanta University and Tanta National University with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today's financial sector.
The event was held under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, in attendance of Prof. Huda Ismail, Vice President of Tanta National University; Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Dean of the Faculty of Business at Tanta University; Prof. Mohammed Ramadan, Director of the Business Information Systems Program; Dr. Mohammed Gazia, Director of the Accounting and Financial Innovations Program at Faculty of Business, Tanta National University; Dr. Rehab Hashem, Director of the Alumni Follow-up Unit; several academic staff; and representatives of Banque Misr.
The program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of financial inclusion, financial technology (FinTech), and the role of entrepreneurship in economic development. It also introduces participants to innovative banking products and specialized financial services designed for young people.
As part of the day's activities, participants were assisted in opening youth bank accounts online. Outstanding students will be nominated to join the Field Financial Literacy Program at Banque Misr branches under the theme “From Youth to Youth”, which will be held from August 1st to 15th 2026.
