With the Participation of Banking Sector Leaders, Accounting and Finance Program Holds Second Session of "Finance and Investment in the Banking Sector" Series in Collaboration with Banking Industry


    Accounting and Finance Program (AFP) at Faculty of Business, Tanta University, held the second session of its “Finance and Investment in the Banking Sector” event series in collaboration with representatives of the banking sector, with the participation of senior banking executives.
   The session was held at 12:00 p.m. in Hall (1) in the BIS Building, formed part of the ongoing training and educational initiative for AFP students and graduates.
   The second symposium was held under the title “Digital Transformation and Financial Technology in the Banking Sector”, highlighting the growing role of digital innovation and financial technology (FinTech) in shaping the future of banking services and financial institutions.
   The event was held under Patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University; and under supervision of Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Faculty Dean. It was attended by Prof. Ibrahim Obaid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Ekramy Essmat, Academic Coordinator of Accounting and Finance Program; and Dr. Rehab Hashem, Manager of the Alumni Follow-up Unit.
   It was lectured by an elite of leadership from the banking sector namely; Mr. Mohammed Nada, Manager of Financial Inclusion Department; and Mr. Mahmoud Amer, Official of Financial Inclusion at the Bank. Both of them presented an outstanding lecture targeted deepening the understanding of modern mechanisms of the banking business as well as supporting financial and digital awareness of students to qualify them for the labor market.
   For his part, Prof. Ibrahim Obaid affirmed keenness of the faculty on linking the academic path to the requirements of the labor market, commending the fruitful cooperation between the faculty and the banking sector and its pivotal role in refining the skills of the students and graduates.
