Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Dean of Faculty of Business at Tanta University, extends his sincere congratulations to the winning students whose projects have qualified to represent Tanta University in the “Waste Management in Universities – Green Loop Competition”, at the level of Egyptian universities. The competition is organized by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Fund for the Welfare of Innovators and Geniuses, in cooperation with the Leadership Development Institute, under the slogan: “We Recycle, We Innovate, We Build”.
   The “Rebekia” project won first place in the university internal hackathon. The project team is multidisciplinary and includes students from Business Information Systems (BIS) Program:
•    Mr. Hisham Mohamed Barakat, Third-Year BIS Student.
•    Ms. Alia Reda Shebl, First-Year BIS Student.
   The project presents an integrated vision for transitioning toward a Zero Waste Campus through a smart system for waste sorting, management, and recycling.
   The faculty administration wishes all participating students the best of luck and success in the final stage of the competition at the level of Egyptian universities.
