Faculty of Business at Tanta University organized an orientation meeting for first-level students enrolled in the Business Information Systems (BIS) Program for the academic year, 2026/2027, under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Yasser Al-Garf, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Tariq Radwan, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Dina Abdel Hady, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; Prof. Ibrahim Obaid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Aya Abu Gabal, Academic Coordinator of the Program, along with a number of program coordinators and academic staff.
The event was also attended by Dr. Yasser Abdu, Advisor to the University President for Innovation; Dr. Nasr Addin Abdul Aziz, Director of the Creativa Hub and Director of the Information Technology Institute (ITI) in Tanta; and Eng. Ahmed Tolba, Representative of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) at the Creativa Hub in Tanta.
During his speech, Prof. Yasser Al-Garf welcomed the new students and emphasized the faculty commitment to keeping pace with the latest educational and technological systems. He encouraged students to work diligently and make the most of the wide range of opportunities offered by the program in the current labor market.
The orientation day featured detailed presentations covering the program’s advantages and objectives, academic system and assessment methods, and graduation requirements.
The meeting concluded with the honoring of the top-performing students across the first three levels of the program, as well as BIS students who had graduated from Information Technology Institute (ITI) programs in Tanta, celebrating their achievements and recognizing their academic and professional excellence.
