First: Social Services
The social department provides social assistance via social solidarity fund for students of the regulation system and via the special resources for students of the affiliation system as follows:
1. Social Solidarity Fund for students of the regulation system:
It provides financial cash or in-kind assistance according to the regulations set by the fund's board. The assistance is to be provided during the academic year. Some assistance is provided all year round for students with difficult social, economic and health conditions.
2. Special resources for students of the affiliation system:
Financial assistance or discount on tuition fees is provided to students of the affiliation system according to the social, economic or health conditions.
Steps to get the financial assistance:
1. The student withdraws an assistance form with a letter attached to the social unit to which the student is affiliated.
2. After fulfilling the form from the social unit, a salary statement, pension statement, or a copy of the card of the student’s father who works as a farmer or self-employed is to be attached.
3. All the documents are to be submitted to the supervisor of the class which the student is registered in
4. Assistance is to be given to students as follows:
• Students of the regulation system get assistance from the faculty treasury
• Students of the affiliation system get assistance from the faculty treasury
• In-kind assistance is paid as part of the tuition fees

2. Extracting nutrition cards for students from outside Tanta
3. Extracting passports for students during the summer holiday
4. Clearance to graduated students
5. Issuing training letters in banks and companies during the summer holiday
6. Supervising medical examination on new at the Medical Administration
7. Lost and Found Unit
