Student Activities

Faculty of Business is keen on providing all the available capabilities so that students can practice all sports activities easily. Several sports facilities have been established at the faculty that keep pace with the latest systems and include:

A. The Courts Complex and it includes:
� Tennis court
� A complex court for handball, basketball, and volleyball
� Two futsal playgrounds
B. The Gym Complex and it Includes:
� Fitness center
� Weight lifting hall
� Bodybuilding hall
� A hall for fitness equipment

Many competitions are held in variant fields including literary, religion, science, writing novels and short stories, and wall magazines. In addition, competitions for reciting and memorizing the Holly Qur�an, and memorizing the Noble Prophetic Hadiths are held annually.

The committee participates in the competitions organized by the university and the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports.
Achievements of the cultural committee:
1. Preparing the student guide for new students
2. Competitions for memorizing the Holy Qur�an and the Noble Prophetic Hadiths at the faculty and university level
3. Short story and poetry competition at the faculty and university level
4. Preparing for the graduation ceremony
5. Wall magazine competition

3. The Artistic Activity
It aims to develop students' talents and demonstrate youth's capabilities who enjoy different kinds of theatrical and fine arts via:
1- Participating in theatrical team in the summer theater forum which is held annually in October
2- Holding artistic parties in different occasions
3- Participating in Universities' Youth Gathering that is held annually in March
4- Holding exhibitions and competitions of fine arts
5- Participating in different competitions at the university level and the level of all Egyptian universities.

4. Scout and Public Service Activity
The committee works on helping students who want to practice the scout activities, including public service projects, scout camps, at the level of Faculties of Business in Egyptian universities, university public camps, national, and international camps.
In addition, students can participate in preparing public service center camp inside the faculty, and preparing and participating in camp for the commercial course of Faculties of Business at all Egyptian Universities.

5. Social Activities and Trips
The committee works on encouraging students to participate in social activities and research.
Achievements of the committee:
1. The chess competition
2. The ideal male and female student competition
3. Blood donation campaigns
4. Extracting passports for students during the summer holiday
5. Extracting training letters for students in banks and companies

6. Families Committee Activities
Student families are a part of the Student Union Committees which aim to develop the spirit of cooperation between students and academic staff. In addition, they aim to expand the base of students� cultural, social, artistic and sports activities which help students to invest their spare time, improve their skills and refine their talents.

7. The Scientific and Technological Activity
1. Holding seminars and scientific conferences to develop scientific and innovative skills of students
2. Encouraging and enhancing scientific research
3. Supporting science clubs, scientific societies, and student work
4. Coordination between students of the human faculties and students of the applied faculties in the areas of scientific research and variant sciences
5. Publication of research projects and papers in scientific journals
